Feature Friday!
Today’s feature is Peter Moorman, who hails from a little slice of heaven in The Netherlands called Foppe’s Acre. Peter is an illustrator who paints rather charming and fantastic portraits of the animals that reside at Foppe’s Acre (a sheep, some ducks and geese, and a tribe of cats) as well as portraits of other people’s pets. Peter painted my three kids above: (left to right) Chuck, Greyson, and Minnie. The tuxedo cat portrait in the background is Peter’s infamous cat Foppe, for whom his property is named. I’m a big fan of Foppe and I’ve enjoyed following Peter’s stories about country living over the years.
Peter shares the goings on at Foppe’s Acre on Flickr. He has also published a book via Blurb. Please visit his shop, where you can find notecards and original art.
